Specialized Spot and Stain Removal
Have you ever had a carpet cleaner tell you, "Some
spots and stains may not come out" without even trying to correct
the problem first?
Have you ever been told that it will cost you extra
to remove typical, everyday spots?
Special attention to spots and stains must be included
in normal job performance. However, time consuming specialized spotting
may incur an additional charge. Technicians should advise customers of
additional charges before extensive spotting or color repair is attempted.

That's right! BY
THE BOOK!! If any spot is not removed during this extensive cleaning
process, they will be worked on accordingly with the proper spotting
agents.
carries numerous
spotting agents at all times for those stubborn spots and stains.
Every attempt is made to remove these at no additional charge, however,
if they cannot be successfully removed, there are methods that may require
additional treatments and additional charges.
There are some situations where Specialized Spotting may be necessary
and we will address them shortly. You will never be charged for
anything above what is agreed upon! There are no hidden charges! This
is another feature that separates from its competitors.
Filtration Soil Lines
You may notice some grayish to blackish looking lines around the perimeter
of your room and in some cases underneath doors that have been closed
for an extended period of time. And even in some odder cases, sometimes
in the middle of the room. This is commonly known as filtration soil.
Filtration soil is very apparent on lighter carpet. For the most part,
it cannot be removed by normal cleaning. In rooms stained with
filtration soil, uses an
internal jet crevice tool for this problem. This is another
feature that separates from
its competitors.

If these lines cannot be removed by the special crevice tool, then
additional treatment may be required at an additional cost. However,
an attempt is made first to rid the markings first at no additional
charge. There are some preventative measures that you can take
to prevent these lines from appearing.
Stains
Stains are discolorations to a fiber. Perhaps you accidentally spilled
some bleach or cleaning products on your carpet and notice it left a
very light mark. Chances are you have just experienced color loss from
those fibers. may
be able to save you the trouble and expense of having to replace the
carpet by spot dyeing the affected area.

That's right, Color Repair is another IICRC
certification I maintain through the certification process.
Today's over-the-counter spot removing products, when used incorrectly
can ruin a carpet. They can either set the stain, or remove color from
the carpet depending on the fiber type.
There is yet another type of stain that occurs almost daily. Beverage
spills! That's right! This is probably the most common stain a family
can face. Whether it's grape juice or red Kick-A-Poo Joy Juice, immediate
blotting and rinsing can prevent stains from appearing. Unfortunately,
they are rarely treated properly and timely and the "stain"
can set in. Have no fear; there are treatments available to correct
these situations most of the time, even more so if the homeowner hasn't
"set" the stain into the fiber.
And
with revolutionary tools now available, such as the Water
Claw, these spills and damage-causing over-the-counter spot removing
products can now be thoroughly flushed from the carpet and pad so that
proper treatment can be applied for correction of that damaged carpet.
